Dear Coralie,
As I leave Fossie and Lucy it is wintery and dull. But that is OK since the weekend weather was fab.

It is good to hear from you and to hear that Daisy is coming to visit with you and Kyle. Hope you have a great day - I hear the weather is a bit variable just now - so I am hoping for sun for you.

Love & XXX. Ann

Hello Julia,

But first the Weald of Kent, which was very green, fertile and joyous this afternoon. I suspect Scotland may be a little colder and less welcoming. However, I do intend to have a fine time and will let you know all about it as soon as. Glad you have had sight of Rob, even if briefly, I like to know he is OK. Yes, the boys night out did claim attention - but to cal it a boys night out somehow overplays what these boys are capable of what with family responsibilities, early bed times and weak constitutions!!! But don't tell Rob I said that! Love as ever. Ann

Hi again Ann

We love the North York Moors, and your friends'farm sounds idyllic. Now Edinburgh to come! As it happens, this past week I've been going through (repairing/rearranging/labelling) our Edinburgh photo album from August 1979, when Alex was on a tour to the Festival with the LSO and David and I did all the sightseeing. So what with the All Blacks playing there today and you arriving on Tuesday, it's very much in my mind. Have a great time there. Lots of love from us
Julia xx
PS We caught up very briefly with Rob and Daisy. The lure of a boys' night out meant there were only a few moments for us!!
