Relax and follow us through the Skopelos countryside. Learn about the island. Each hike, depending upon the temperature, is up to about 5 hours duration (including stops), has at least one picnic break (there are no way-side taverns) and has as many stops as required for taking photographs, admiring the view, watching birds/butterflies and picking fruit, nuts or herbs. Old cobbled paths and dirt trails are used whenever possible but they are often edged with scratchy scrub. The hikes are over varying terrain and inevitably some are more strenuous than others.  Participants should be prepared for portions of uphill climbs. Make sure that you wear suitable clothing and footwear! Walking boots aren’t really necessary (unless it’s a personal preference of course). Let us know if a trail is overgrown and we’ll try to get to it.  If you would like to volunteer, please let us know.
