Saint Marina spring circular = 3 hours
We leave town passing the ancient walls of the Livadi monastery and start to climb up towards the Hamlet of Myli. Taking a rocky trail we then climb up through the pine trees, stopping now and then to catch our breath and admire the views. In a short time we arrive at the spring where we take a break before heading back to town via trail and forest road. The views down to town are spectacular. We may pop into the Sotiros monastery if the monk is at home and in agreement. The church is stunning. We then continue our way down to town via road and trails.

The Palio Klima/Ag Ioannis Loop – 5.77km
After meeting in Skopelos town, we drive or take the municipal bus 45 minutes to the trail head at Palio Klima. First walking along an old cobbled trail, we join a dirt road which leads us into a forest. Here there is a skalapaty (ladder track). It’s only short but rather steep. After about one hour, we arrive at Ag Iannis with it’s 200 steps. Time for refreshments before heading back along a beautiful forest lane.
